COME AND YARN WITH US

50 Years of Deadly: What Comes Next?

đź“… Date: Wednesday July 8, 2026
⏰ Time: 1:00pm - 2:00pm AEST
đź’» Recording available for 7 days

The 2026 NAIDOC theme, 50 Years of Deadly, celebrates five decades of recognising and honouring First Nations voices, leadership, resilience and achievement.

If National Reconciliation Week challenged us to move beyond symbolic gestures and build the confidence to act, what comes next?

Reconciliation is often framed as something we should do. But it also offers something valuable to all of us. At a time when many people are seeking deeper connection, belonging and ways to navigate difference well, First Nations perspectives offer wisdom that can enrich our lives, relationships and workplaces.

Join Aunty Munya Andrews (Aboriginal Elder) and Carla Rogers (Evolve Co-Director and Ally) and the Evolve team for a live, interactive webinar exploring how First Nations wisdom, leadership, resilience and deep listening can strengthen our ability to Reflect, Relate and Reconcile - deepening Allyship, relationships and Reconciliation.

Ideal for People and Culture, HR, D&I and Learning and Development teams, Reconciliation and RAP Working Groups, leaders, managers, internal champions and Allies who want to deepen their understanding and continue their Reconciliation journey with greater confidence, care and connection.

This session is especially helpful if you are asking:

    • How can we build on the conversations and commitments sparked during National Reconciliation Week?

    • How can First Nations wisdom help us navigate difficult conversations, strengthen relationships and deepen Allyship?

    • What can First Nations perspectives teach us about belonging, connection and workplace inclusion?

    • What can First Nations leadership and wisdom teach us about becoming a more Deadly organisation?

There will be no judgement, shame or blame - just a welcoming space to learn, reflect and take practical action.

"Aunty Munya & Carla are such a great duo, perfect balance. It just makes me feel overwhelmingly proud to be Australian when I hear them talk - they're relatable and just awesome."
